These days, university prices often prevent us from gaining recognised qualifications, sometimes excluding us from applying for jobs and roles we feel we can do.

Our AIM at futuresmart is to improve your CV to include not just the amazing skills you have achieved but also to help you gain qualifications that will allow you to be competitive within the job market of your choice.

Our 7 Steps

Step 1

You’ve already started ... reading this e-book will give you some awareness of what you need to know. We also recommend you take some time to reflect on your own current circumstances.

Step 2

We understand your aim is to improve your career. Gaining a good salary is important, as is understanding what you can bring to a new career in order to move ahead with confidence.

Step 3

We help you look at different options and courses and see what you would like to do. Courses range from “Postgraduate” (MSc, MAs and MBAs), which can be accessed without an undergraduate degree, through “Professional”, (accountancy, wealth management, insurance etc,) “Trades” (plumbing, renewable energy, electrician,) to “Practical” (personal training, nutrition etc.) to name but a few.

Step 4

Meet with us and we will put together an outline plan and route you can follow. If you would like to proceed we will send you a learning contract which you will need to sign and send back.

Step 5

Whatever your choice, we will help you. If you choose an academic route, your tutor will help you gain the skill to achieve at Masters level. They will develop a scheme of work and a timeline to suit you. We will negotiate with universities for you to access a Masters programme if that is your choice.

Step 6

As you have been working for some time, we can often use your experience to gain university credits towards your chosen degree.

Step 7

On registering with us we ask you for a basic CV. As you progress we add information and develop personal statements in preparation for your next step(s). Any package with FUTURESMART means that we will help you so don’t worry. When your courses are near completion come back to us and we will re-develop your CV and personal statement ready for your referral to recruitment agencies if appropriate.
