Potential Savings

Studying for an undergraduate degree in the UK can cost around £27,750, plus interest. However, in certain cases, obtaining a PGCert can offer an alternative route, allowing individuals to skip the requirement of completing an undergraduate degree*. | £24,750 |
By enrolling in our selected courses with a PGCert, you’ll receive 60 credits, reducing the total credits needed for a full Master’s level degree to 120 out of the usual 180. Our fees are more affordable than university rates, approximately £3,500 per 60 credits. | £500 (+ £24,750)** |
Our certification in ethical practice is valued at 30 credits. Accessing this programme doesn’t require an undergraduate degree, offering significant time and cost savings. | £1000 (+ £24,750)** |
- Some professions do not apply and a full undergraduate degree remains essential.
- Additional savings for those without an undergraduate degree.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
futuresmart offers flexible postgraduate qualifications designed to enhance both your academic and professional profile. The programme is centred around Ethical Practice, Leadership and Management, encouraging you to reflect on your own experiences and the impact of leadership and ethical decision-making in your workplace and wider community.
Through engaging with key theories and concepts, you’ll deepen your understanding of how leadership and management influence individuals, teams, organisations, and stakeholders. You’ll also develop critical thinking and practical skills that prepare you for future academic or professional opportunities.
You can choose from three different routes, depending on your personal goals:
- PGCERT Ethical Leadership with Dual Award: A combined qualification including a Level 7 ILM Award/Certificate/Diploma/Extended Diploma in Leadership and Management.
- PGCERT Ethical Leadership (60 Credits): A standalone Master’s-level qualification.
- Level 7 Certificate in Ethical Practice (30 Credits): Ideal for reflecting on your professional experience and gaining academic credit.

This qualification is worth 60 credits at Master’s level. You can:

- Top it up towards an MSc in Business-related fields;
- Use it to gain entry into other postgraduate degrees without needing an undergraduate degree.
We also offer a Dual Award option where these credits are combined with a Level 7 qualification from the Institute of Leadership (formerly ILM), enabling you to gain a practical and recognised leadership qualification alongside your academic award.
The PGCERT is designed to:
- Develop a critical understanding of ethical leadership;
- Equip you with postgraduate-level academic skills;
- Prepare you for further study or enhanced leadership roles.

Fees
Generally the universities are working at £60.00 – 70.00 per credit at post graduate level which results in 180 credits being charged between £10.000- £15.000 depending upon the masters degree (MSc MA MBA). Working with us at FUTURESMART saves you money as we charge £50.00 per academic credits plus £30.00 per professional or APEL credit completed for our dual award. Awarding bodies for example the ILM and QUALIFI both require you to pay registration fees
Our PGCERT therefore is costed at £3000.00 for the 60 credits + ILM professional credits
- £900 of the extended Diploma
- £550.00 for the Diploma
- £400 for the certificate
Again we alter that in order to save you money and you will find the course matched the amount of tutor support required. Therefore you will be able to select the package and support you require
